Tree surgeon Carl Springett, from Waterers carefully takes down a badly damaged Oak tree near to the Bar. The tree was struck by lightning early in the year and was in a very poor condition, this will be the only large tree to be taken down throughout the whole project. More road planings are delivered and levelled out across the taram sheeting. We go back inside the upper chamber of Temple Bar for the very last time after a crack in one of the steps leading up to it was causing too much of a risk to visitors and the decision was made to cordon the area off.
